Two factors to get to the top of SERP
In order to drive organic traffic to our online article, we will need two factors which I have listed down as below:
1) First, our article will need to get to the top 10 position on SERPs or simply means to stay on the first page of the SERPs, and those steps that we need to get to the top of the SERPs are:-
- Write an article with at least 1000 words and above so you can get a good placement in Google SERPs.
- The content of your article is very very important, an article with rich information will stay on top of the Google SERPs even with only 500 words or less. Therefore, if your article do not have quantity (1000 words), then you must try to improve on the quality (Rich information) part.
- After you have finished writing your article, you will need to use twitter to tweet your article, Google bot likes twitter and therefore your article will get listed by the search engine within a day or two. Your article ranking in Google will depend on:-
- The age of your twitter account (The older it is, the better ranking your article will get).
- How many followers you have in Twitter (2K followers and above will be an ideal one). If your twitter account does not meet those two conditions above, then try to follow someone who meet that two conditions and get him to follow you back, then every time you make a tweet, your tweet will appear on his twitter wall which will later help your article to get a better placement in Google SERPs.
2) Secondly, at least 6 different keywords combination from the main keyword phrase that we have used in our article will need to get to the top 5 position on Google SERPs. This is a little bit complicated process because when you choose a keyword phrase, you will need to guess what type of keywords combination a SE's user will type into the search box, for example, if you choose a keyword phrase such as "How to make money online with Hubpages", then your website will probably show up on the SERP whenever a SE's user search for these keyword phrases, "make money", "make money with Hubpages", "make money online", "How to make money with Hubpages", "make money online with Hubpages', "how to make money online" and so on. If you try to figure it out all those keywords that the SE's user is going to type into the search box, you will really need to spend one whole day doing it. Therefore, the best way to solve this problem is to buy the keyword research software such as IBP software which will save you lots of time when you do your own online keyword research. Without a sophisticated keyword research software, you will never being able to figure it out by yourself which keyword phrase you should use to drive traffic to your site.

Oh, god, mr.darntoothysam, I am so tired as well, this is like a boxing match now and I think both boxers are very very tired already, now let me explain to you one more last time and that is it. Our page will still get indexed by Google even with nofollow link, nofollow is only not good for page ranking because we will not get any juice from a site with nofollow link but the search bots will still get to our site even with nofollow link and indexed our page.

Something got my attention resently searching google . I came across a twitter profile page on the first page of google. I of course went to it and tried to find out how a twitter profile got there. on searching the tweet it was mostly in arabic so went back to the profile that was in english, this was a separate individual page like in the back office when creating your profile. Unfortunately I dont remember the keyword search to point it out but has any-one else seen that in google search? Cause this opens new doors for optimising keyword rich profile pages.

'One thing you are confusing is "rank" vs. "indexing". Being indexed means that Google KNOWS about your page, ranking means where you show up in the search results'--No I'm not, what you read is what I mean.
About the twitter part, I have already explained to you so there is no need for me to repeat it anymore.
'You can get Googlebot to index your site by pinging it with Technorati or Pingomatic ping services.' --- Oh, man,
this is what I have done when I have just started doing the SEO. And the result? After four weeks of awaiting, I still can't find my own site in the SERP. That is why we need a backlink from a well rank and trusted site such as twitter in order to get our webpage indexed fast and to get to the front page of SERP (Rank well). Backlink is just like a bridge, a bot will cross to your website if you placed a backlink on a forum or other sites with high Google bot's crawling rate, this is the fastest way to get your page indexed by search engine, but in order to get a good ranking, you will need those extra steps that I have just mentioned in my hub.

I can't get a #1 spot for a blank page, but I bet I can get one on page one for a keyword phrase that does not have extremely high competition.' --- Yes, there is a way to do it, but this is not a good practice and please don't do it anymore in the future.
