Drive Traffic with Google Trends

We all know that in order for a website to drive in lots of visitors, it will need to stay on top of the SERPs with a few hot keywords. Therefore, it is very important to choose the correct keyword research tool for our search engine optimization process, and Google Trends is one of the tool which we can use to do the keyword research for our new website. Just type in "Google Trends" to the Google search box and click on the link in the SERPs to get to the site, once you are there, start to type in those keywords which your have prepared into the Search Trends box and look for their yearly or monthly search volume to decide whether you want to use them in your website or not. I have found that Google Trends is a really easy to use tool and it also has lots of cool features which can help me to improve on my keyword research time and efficiency, and below are those features which make me really like about this tool:

Search Volume Index Graph and News Reference Volume Graph

Search Volume Index graph helps me to get a better picture of the search volume for a particular keyword or keyword phrase and News Reference Volume graph will show me the volume of search for the news which related to that particular keyword or keyword phrase.

Date Range Filter

I can use this feature to know the search volume of a particular keyword during a particular time period, for example, the search volume of all years or just the last 30 days.

Region Filter

I can use this feature to find out the search volume of a particular keyword for each country, another cool thing about this feature is that we can even find out the keyword search volume of a particular state of that country.
